What's In A Name?

He was called "Sketch" because of his infatuation with drawing, and never finishing pictures when he was little. "Tha Cataclysm" came due to a chance encounter with a magazine, legal purposes, Jeru, and to make his name become more of an artistic statement rather then just a rap name with a subtitle.

The Music?

The music is simply uncatergorized. There are so many styles and genre's Sketch taps into that it is virtually impossible to say that he is just a Hip Hop artist or Indie Rapper. He would best be described as experimental. He brings together a unique sound utilizing his ever growing skills with beats, melodies, metaphores and everything in between. The diverse music is what makes his sound worth listening to. There is nothing commercial about Sketch's music and you will never be bored with the same lyrics over and over again unlike most music out there nowadays.

The current band of lunatics attempting to make Sketch songs sound like credible music are: Sketch. . .Who also also plays in TWO CRIPPLED HEROES with Dustin, they are pretty good and one day he will do a performance with Adam Stone of the "art project" called ASK THE DOG FOR TREE PERFUME. He has also recorded and/or performed with John Tyler of Lesser Being: drums, Dan Carlucci:guitar, Dan Tressler: fiddiolin and guitar, Darian Cunning: many varied delites, Chelsea Genzano:vocals guitar and piano, Chris Berry:drums, Silent Tuch: vocals, Rik27:vocals, Tim Walsh:drums, The band Nardy Boy, and many more.
